Drexel Application Deadlines
A completed application and all required supplemental documents (e.g., official transcripts, official test scores, and portfolio) must be submitted before your application deadline. The application deadline is a received-by date, not a postmarked date, so please give yourself ample time to submit your documents prior to the deadline.
How to Submit Application Materials
We strongly recommend that you submit all official transcripts and supporting documentation electronically to enroll@drexel.edu. If your school is not able to send official transcripts electronically, please request that official documents be sent by mail or courier service. Drexel Admissions will process application documents received through the U.S. Postal Service and courier services (DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.), although there is a slight delay in processing these documents. Please allow 3–4 weeks for transcripts and supporting documents sent by mail or courier to be processed.
First-Year Deadlines and Critical Dates (Domestic and International)
Applicants may apply for Early Decision, Early Action, or Regular Decision. Learn more about Early Decision and Early Action. For the 2021–2022 academic year, a Winter Entry Program is also available.
Note: Applicants to the BA/BS+MD Early Assurance program may only apply for Early Action or Regular Decision and will be required to submit standardized test scores for consideration.
Winter Entry Program
Deadline | Documents Due |
---|---|
October 1 | Applications and all supporting documents due; decisions released by November 1. |
October 8 | 2021–2022 CSS Profile due; required to be considered for institutional need-based financial aid. |
October 8 (Recommended*) | 2021–2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) priority submission deadline; required to be considered for federal or state need-based financial aid (domestic applicants only). |
Immediately upon confirming (International admitted students only) | We strongly recommend that admitted first-year winter entry international students submit their I-20/DS-2019 applications as soon as possible after confirming their enrollment to the University. That would allow them sufficient time to receive their I-20/DS-2019s, obtain their student visas at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate abroad, and arrive in the U.S. to start their programs on January 3. Applying later may cause visa application delays and impact their ability to start their program as planned. |
November 13 | Tuition deposit and housing deposit due for admitted first-year winter entry students. |
January 3 | First day of winter quarter. |
* In order to receive a financial aid package that reflects eligibility for federal and state aid at the same time as admission, applicants are encouraged to submit their FAFSA by October 8; however, FAFSAs can be received after this date.
